Ms. Stéphanie Rist, Minister of Health, Families, Autonomy and Persons with Disabilities

Trained as a rheumatologist, the Minister began her career in hospital medicine. From 2005 to 2017, she served as Head of the Rheumatology Department and Head of the Medical Division at the Orléans Regional Hospital, while also acting as Vice‑President of the hospital’s Medical Committee.

She was elected Member of Parliament for the 1st constituency of Loiret (Orléans‑South) from 2017 to 2025 and served on the Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly. In parallel, she has been a municipal and metropolitan councillor in Orléans since 2020 and a full member of the Court of Justice of the Republic between 2024 and 2025.

She has been Minister of Health, Families, Autonomy and Persons with Disabilities since October 2025.
